Markings: "58", "B" (grade), "Catterall"
The first bulldog from Catterall Pipes, featuring Spanish briar and a handcut acrylic stem. There are some minor sandpit flaws in the briar, but all in all this is a lovely pipe. Van Catterall felt the grain was too pretty to blast…and lowered the grade from A to B and kept it smooth. Clean, classic lines.
