Jess Chonowitsch Bamboo Shanked Bent
A graceful shape from one of the world best makers. This pipe is in excellent condition and is a wonderful smoker. The blast bowl and the smooth rim along with the bamboo make this pipe a real winner. Jess Chonowitsch pipes are getting harder to find as his production is very limited. I am not sure if he has made any pipes in the last couple of years. This is a fine example of his craftsmanship.
The pipe is stamped on the bamboo as follows:
Stamped on the stem end of the bamboo: CHONOWITSCH (over) JESS
